Red Queen

This is a very striking image, with a good match of colour of background with model, and I think they work very well together to convey your concept. However, there are two things that I think might improve the image. You have put a hard-edged black frame on it & to me, that is a distraction, because much of the image is in soft focus. A soft -edged vignette may have been more in keeping.

Secondly, the highlights in the background are too blown-out and tend to draw the eye away from the figure, which I think is the focus. I notice that this is in the original, so you might have added another layer to camoflage it a little. Perhaps a texture or some brushwork would do the trick. I imagine that the glow is part of your concept, but to me it's a little too obtrusive.

Overall, an arresting composition.
